Nantwich Town’s Evo-Stik Premier League match away at Buxton has fallen victim to the weather.

Officials confirmed the inevitable after looking at the heavy snow and wintry conditions at the Buxton ground.

It is one of scores of lower league and non league games to be postponed today.

Nantwich’s next game, weather permitting, is on Tuesday March 26 at home to Chorley FC at the Weaver Stadium, kick off 7.45pm.

Crewe Alexandra’s League One game away at Crawley Town has also been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch. Officials made the decision after a 9.30am pitch inspection.

This has been rescheduled for Tuesday night as the Alex battle to cram in re-scheduled matches around their Johnstone Paint Trophy final on April 7.
