The Premier Division Cup Final was won by Willaston White Star, who beat Crewe Athletic 4-0.

Willaston opened the scoring on seven minutes when a free-kick was headed in by Keilahn Annikey.

Crewe Ath didn’t heed the warning and the same player headed a corner against the post.

Early in the second half a defensive error by Crewe Ath left Ben Burrow with an open goal to make it 2-0.

An excellent pass left Luke Goddard through on goal who scored to make it 3-0 in the 77th minute.

In the 87th minute, Mike Evans had a penalty saved by the keeper but from the resulting corner Steve McNichol headed in to round off a comfortable victory.

Elsewhere in the Crewe Regional Sunday League, Rising Sun continued their unbeaten run in Division One with a midweek 10-1 win over injury-hit Santa Maria.

Steve Pattinson netted five times, with Damien Sloan getting a hat-trick with Tom Glover and Gary Pownall also scoring.

Chris Robaszek replied for Santa Maria.

Rising Sun then completed their season with a 1-1 draw with Bank Corner.

Wistaston Athletic finished the season with a 5-0 win over Sandbach Town with goals from Izaac Thaw, Lee Jones, Dan Croft, Daniel Cotton and Connor Alcock.
