Christmas Fayres - Work of the Craft Group in the museum shop - 2013

Nantwich Museum’s popular Christmas Fayres featuring handmade goods made by the museum’s craft group will take place on the next two Saturdays, November 21 and 28.

Items for sale in aid of museum funds include a selection of Christmas decorations, bags and cushions.

The museum shop will also be open supplying a range of goods including cards, books, games, toys, souvenirs, craftwork and jewellery for all ages.

Items of local interest include cards and books including Nantwich in Old Photographs, Acton Through The Ages, The Victorian Rebuilding of Crewe Hall and, just published, Willaston School Nantwich by the Willaston & District History Group.

The museum is an independent charitable trust run by its members and a small staff.

It is financed by donations, sponsorship, commercial activities such as the shop and various grants.

Admission to the museum is free and tbey will run between 10.30am and 3pm.
