Crewe Amateur Musical Society show Oliver 2

Members of Crewe Amateur Musical Society have been busy in rehearsals for their latest production of Oliver.

The society will be performing their version of the classic at Crewe Lyceum Theatre from April 6 to 9.

A popular and well-known musical, ‘Oliver’ tells the story of a young boy who runs away from an orphanage and falls in with Fagan’s gang.

Full of song, dance and storytelling, the cast and crew hope the audience will enjoy watching the show as much as they’ve enjoyed being a part of it.

After rehearsing for so long, Peter Johnson who plays ‘Mr Bumble’, says everyone at Crewe Amateur Musical Society is looking forward to being able to perform in front of an audience.
