Hundreds of fans of vintage vehicles flocked to a field near Malpas for the 45th annual ‘Malpas Yesteryear Rally’, writes Jonathan White.
The rally is organised by Malpas Vintage Machinery Association Limited.
The event included steam engines, miniature steam engines, commercial and military vehicles, tractors, vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, and bicycles.
There were also buses, stationary engines, tractor working areas, steam road making demonstrations, woodsawing and threshing demonstrations, heavy horses, fairground organs, an old-time fairground, craft marquee, trade stands, catering and a bar.
It took place at Rally Field at Hampton.
The 2019 Malpas Yesteryear Rally will take place on September 7 and 8.
