They disseminate information, coordinate accommodation and organise functions and activities during.

This weekend’s visit coincides with one of its many popular events, The Battle of Nantwich, before the signing of the agreement on Saturday evening.

Current Mayor of Nantwich Cllr David Marren said: “I’m delighted we are coming together with Dzierżoniów to sign this Friendship Agreement, which can bring many benefits to our town and community.

“It will give young and old an opportunity to share ideas, views, experiences and to build new connections.”

The agreement aims to develop cultural, educational, sporting and recreational links for mutual benefit particularly through exchange visits and tourism.
