The last few weeks has seen many media posts re what CEC is doing to improve our roads, and also why they do most repairs in the summer etc.
This small close of 16 properties has just been visited by CEC’s white spray team to identify pothole repairs.
Three areas have been marked for attention with 25 others feeling neglected and unloved. See sample photos.
Is it any wonder the public have lost their patience with CEC and we have to wait to 2027 for an election even though there will be one for a Mayor of Cheshire and Warrington costing over £1 million.
We have not been democratically asked if we want this new role.

It has been a nightmare on A51, where work is being undertaken on resurfacing, with total disruption to road users, residents and some residents being without a bus service on the 2-day shut down of the road, in places. Also insufficient notification of the road shut down for all concerned.
