Stapeley grange RSPCA wildlife centre

Stapeley Grange RSPCA wildlife centre and cattery in Nantwich is to host its first cheese and wine evening.

The new fundraising initiative aims to support the centre’s life-saving work with wild, exotic and domestic animals.

The event takes place on Thursday September 11th from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

It includes an exclusive VIP tour of the centre and Royal Horticultural Show Garden from 7pm.

Open to both the public as well as local businesses, the evening will feature expert-led wine and cheese pairing with local sommelier and wine educator Mark Jeffries and international cheese judge Nick Birchall.

There will also be live music, raffle prizes and auction, guided tour of the centre’s facilities, a visit to the centre’s RHS-accredited garden, a chance to meet RSPCA representatives and volunteers.

Tickets are £35 per person and are available now at https://ticketlab.app/event/32698#/

All proceeds will fund vital veterinary equipment, including incubators for sick and injured animals which are cared for at Stapeley Grange.

Lee Stewart, centre manager at RSPCA Stapeley Grange, said: “We’re delighted to host this special evening that brings together community, compassion, and a touch of indulgence.

“Every ticket sold helps us fund the essential equipment we need to care for animals who desperately need our help.”

Spaces are limited and organisers are encouraging early booking.

  1. The rspca are guilty of blatant hypocrisy. Wanting to help some animals but not others. Where does cheese come from? From abused cows that’s where. Why don’t you provide plant based substitutes and align with ethics and morals.
