Nine people have been arrested in Nantwich in the last seven days, say Cheshire Police.
This includes a number arrested for domestic related offences as well as drug and drink drive.
At 11.20pm last Saturday (August 16) a 39-year-old manfrom the Audlem area was arrested for breach of court bail.
A 20-year-old man from Nantwich and a 24-year-old man from Crewe were arrested for affray following a fight on Pillory Street at 1.50am on Sunday August 17th.
The investigation is still ongoing with a further male identified and circulated as wanted.
At 6.15pm on Sunday 17th, a 29-year-old man from Crewe was arrested for drug driving following a road an accident on Welsh Row where a vehicle collided with a parked car.
A 37-year-old man from Nantwich was arrested for domestic related harassment at 5.25am on Wednesday August 20th.
On the same day at around 11.15am, a 50-year-old man from Nantwich was arrested for engaging in controlling/coercive behaviour with ex partner.
And later that day, a 44-year-old Nantwich man was arrested for domestic-related malicious communications.
Around 10am on Friday (August 22nd), a 32-year-old man from Audlem was arrested for drug driving following a stop check in Nantwich town centre.
And at 2.10pm on same day, a 58-year-old woman from Wybunbury was arrested for drink driving.
She was charged the following day after providing a sample that showed her to be almost three times over the legal limit.
Weren’t they all excited last week posting about being no arrest over that weekend? Nantwich has always been rougher than people pretend, should never have closed the police station.
