Acts including an NME Hot 100 and BBC 6 Music’s “hot tip” for 2025 are to headline at an intimate Nantwich venue as part of their UK Tour.
Hang Linton will headline the Granary Arts Café on Saturday October 18 as part of his nationwide Apparitions Tour.
The Granary Arts Café, off Welsh Row, has become known as a vital independent venue in the North West.
It has hosted breakthrough UK talent such as Big Special, Antony Szmierek, OneDa, and Gans, alongside international acts like Pan Amsterdam and noughties favourite Fyfe Dangerfield.
Hang Linton’s upcoming performance continues the venue’s reputation for showcasing artists on the cusp of major success.
As with many events at The Granary, the show will also help raise funds for Mid-Cheshire Mind with a percentage of ticket sales going directly to the mental health charity.
Since its inception, Moth Events has raised £18,400 for the cause through sponsorship from local businesses.
The October 18th event is backed by design engineering specialists G&M Engineering Associates.
Organiser Tim Dougill, of Moth Events, said: “I’ve seen Hang Linton perform twice now, once supporting Big Special (former Granary performers!) and the other time Benefits.
“He’s an incredible talent and at an exciting point in his career which is going to really take off.”
Hang Linton has built a reputation for blending groove, noise, and bold visual storytelling.
He shared his excitement about visiting Nantwich for the first time: “I am very excited to get on the road and put my new music in front of fresh audiences, especially in places I’ve never been before like Nantwich.
“I love bringing my unique brand of groove and noise to rural towns – I really hope this is something they’ve never seen before.
“Independent venues that support important causes like mental health are the backbone of independent music culture.
“They’ve been central to my growth as an artist on the UK scene over the past three years.”
Support on the night will come from local poet Steven Langstaff (NightTerrorsPoetry), Nantwich DJ Tom Frees, and Stoke-on-Trent’s Eccie The Dog.
Daniel Harrison, fundraising lead at Mid-Cheshire Mind, added: “The remarkable fundraising efforts of Tim and his team will have a significant impact on our mission to support the mental health of individuals in Cheshire.”
The show will run from 7pm to 10.30pm.
