
A driver had to be cut free from wreckage after a road accident on a rural lane near Bunbury.
The accident happened at around 11.15am yesterday (October 29) on Peckforton Hall Lane.
Fire crews from Tarporley, and one of four weekday fire engines were called out to the scene.
A Cheshire Fire & Rescue spokesperson said: “Firefighters attended a road traffic collision in which one person was trapped in their vehicle.
“The casualty was rescued from the vehicle by firefighters and handed over to the care of paramedics.”
