The popular Nantwich Youth and Community Centre (NYCC) is appealing for more volunteers to join its team.
The centre – on Birchin Lane – was opened in October last year after months of refurbishment work at the former Guy Harvey Youth Club.
And its popularity has grown with scores of youngsters attending each week at various activities and sessions.
Now staff are calling on residents to join its team of volunteers to support the Junior Youth Club, which runs every Wednesday and Friday from 5.45pm to 7.15pm.
The popular club now welcomes more than 45 children aged between 8 and 12 to each session.
A NYCC spokesperson said: “With demand continuing to grow, especially through the autumn and winter months, NYCC is
looking for extra hands to help maintain its friendly and inclusive environment.
“Volunteers play a key role in keeping sessions fun and engaging, from setting up activities to supporting children as they socialise and take part in games and crafts.
“The Junior Youth Club’s popularity has been fuelled by strong community engagement and regular updates shared through the NYCC Facebook page.”
