Award-winning Nantwich estate agents Whitegates has officially opened its new bigger premises in the town centre.
Town Crier Devlin Hobson in his full regalia loudly proclaimed the move in front of a small crowd on Pepper Street.
He then cut the ceremonial ribbon and declared the new shop open.
The new offices are across two floors and located in the unit opposite the Post Office.
They contain meeting rooms, a mortgage advice centre and a large customer reception area.
The windows features state-of-the-art display screens to showcase properties for sale, with a novel interactive option, which allows buyers to search for property details and other information.

Whitegates director Shaun Cafferty said: “We have grown a lot in recent years, and we needed the extra space to continue giving a premium service to customers, despite getting bigger.
“The extra rooms upstairs will also be useful for things like our popular first time buyer and downsizer clinics.
“We have reserved a section of the window space to promote local community events and initiatives throughout the year, many of which we are involved in or supporting.
“Whilst we use cutting-edge technology where it helps us sell houses better and faster, we still believe this is a people business, and that the personal touch matters.
“So it’s important to have a spacious welcoming area where people can visit us and talk face to face.
“We look forward to seeing customers old and new there, for a property chat and a coffee.”
Whitegates also have an office in Crewe and the company employs 14 staff in total.
