Nantwich care firm Right at Home has created a Community Advent Calendar for clients across South Cheshire.
Each day in December reveals a new message, including uplifting quotes, festive statements, light-hearted questions and conversation starters.
It’s designed to support those patients who maybe feeling isolated during the winter.
A Right at Home spokesperson said: “The initiative exists because many of the people we support spend long periods of time on their own, particularly in winter.
“While our care visits provide essential support, we also recognise the importance of emotional wellbeing and social connection.
“The calendar offers a simple daily prompt for interaction, whether through a conversation with a carer, a smile at a festive message, or a memory recalled from a question on the card.”
Staff have handed out calendars in different locations in Nantwich, including the library, Ableworld and Shelter on Beam Street.
“Early feedback has been extremely positive. Clients have enjoyed opening each day, sharing their answers and reminiscing.
“It has become a small but meaningful way of bringing festive warmth into people’s homes!”
