Friends and family of a missing pensioner are still searching for him more than three weeks after he walked out of Leighton Hospital and vanished.

Clive Galley, aged 67, was last seen at around 7.12am on Friday December 19th leaving the hospital.

At the time he was last seen, Clive was wearing a grey and black jacket and black trousers.

There have been unconfirmed sightings near Crewe Station and also seen walking towards Nantwich.

It’s also reported he may have been spotted on CCTV at Home Bargains in Nantwich.

Cheshire Police confirmed today that Clive is still missing and officers are conducting a number of enquiries to locate him.

Cheshire Police Inspector Robert McCubbin said: “A number of enquires are already underway to locate Clive and, as part of those enquiries, we are now appealing to anyone who may have seen him on his travels to please get in touch.

“I would also like to address Clive directly and ask him, if he is reading this, to get in touch with us as we are growing concerned for your safety.

“Anyone with any information regarding Clive’s whereabouts is asked to contact Cheshire Police via the website, or on 101, quoting IML-2235699.”

A Facebook group has been launched to help with the search for Clive.

It says: “Clive went missing from Leighton Hospital on 19th December and was later seen on CCTV at Crewe train station where he was unable to get through the barriers and walked off in the direction of Nantwich.

“Clive had no belongings, no money, no bank card or ID and was said to be in a confused state. He is also not from the local area.

“Clive was known to travel around on trains so chances are that he may not still be in the area, however please keep your eyes peeled for him so we know he is ok.

“Please report any sightings and take a photo if possible and report to 101.”
