A Nantwich man has been charged with seven offences following a series of attempted vehicle break-ins.
The incidents happened on Prince Edward Street and Manor Road in Nantwich at around 11pm last night (January 28).
Police attended Prince Edward Street following reports of a man entering driveways and trying car door handles.
A man was located nearby and arrested for vehicle interference.
Whilst under arrest he has allegedly assaulted two police officers.
A 32-year-old man was arrested and remained in custody overnight before being interviewed and charged today.
He will now appear at South Cheshire Magistrates Court on March 12th.
