The iconic Crown Hotel in Nantwich is to stage a special wedding and party showcase event later this month.
The High Street venue is inviting members of the public to the free two-day event on February 28th and March 1st.
Attendees will receive a complimentary welcome drink and will be able to tour the hotel venue if they are looking for somewhere to stage a wedding or other celebration.
The hotel is one of the few venues in the town able to stage wedding ceremonies and receptions or all sizes, as well as milestone birthdays and anniversaries, private dining parties, baby showers/naming ceremonies, corporate events and celebrations.
Crown Hotel owner and manager Abbi Ellwood said: “We will be showcasing it all …both of our function rooms will be dressed to impress by our trusted suppliers.
“They will be here to talk you and inspire you for your special occasion!
“Guest bedrooms and bridal suite will also be available to view.
“And there will be 2026 special offers and all-inclusive wedding/party packages available!”
The Crown is a Grade I listed building which has been a central feature of Nantwich for more than 400 years.
The three-storey venue was burnt down in the fire of Nantwich in 1583 and quickly rebuilt by Queen Elizabeth I, with timbers from nearby Delamere Forest.
Recently refurbished, The Crown retains many original features including an abundance of oak beams, wattle and daub walls and roaring fires.
There are 18 individually appointed en-suite rooms, with free parking and free wifi throughout.
Function rooms are suitable for parties of up to 150 guests.
