A popular local store in Nantwich has re-opened today after a major refit costing thousands.
The Bargain Booze shop on Barony Road was closed throughout February while revamp work was carried out.
It finally re-opened today (March 3rd), much to the relief of manager Matthew Davies.
As well as a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food, the store also stocks the popular free community newspaper Nantwich Life.
A new feature of the store is the “beer cave” with a wider range of products now available.
Matthew said: “We’re finally open again!
“We’d have dearly loved to have been open for the weekend but it was just gone beyond us. We wanted to get it right and do it justice.
“We’d love to see you at some stage and we hope you love it as much as we do.”
A Bargain Booze spokesperson said: “Your local Bargain Booze Store in Nantwich has everything you need to celebrate!”
The store ‘s new opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm, Saturday 9am to 9pm, and Sunday 10am to 8pm.

Congratulations, Jackie & Matthew & staff. Best wishes for the future!
