A Nantwich arts group is to stage its first exhibition next month at the Parish Rooms of St Mary’s Church.
SmartArts is hosting the “This town is full of artists” exhibition on Saturday April 25th, with all residents invited.
Liz Conway and Kate Marchuk, who founded the group a year ago, are two of 16 members who all work with different materials when the group gets together.
Kate said: “We are very proud of what members – a fabulous, friendly and funny group fuelled by a love of making art – have achieved.
“And we are excited by this opportunity to welcome people in to come and have a look at what the group has produced.”
Original art, prints and cards will be on display and available to buy.

Artists will be at the exhibition to chat and answer any questions from visitors.
And there will be demonstrations by group members who will be working on their current pieces.
Kate added: “We all work in different media – oils, acrylics, watercolour, pastel.
“There’s no teaching or guest speakers, just a lot of chat and coffee and learning from each other.”
The exhibition is free to attend and will run from 10am to 4.30pm.
Anyone interested in joining the SmartArts group can contact 07340 803022 (Liz) or 07795 313085 (Kate).
