NYCC members visit padel courts

Thirty‑three young people from Nantwich Youth and Community Centre enjoyed a special visit to the new padel courts at The Barony in Nantwich.

The four new courts were recently unveiled by Everybody Health and Leisure as part of its latest investment in active community spaces.

The new facility gave local children the opportunity to try one of the world’s fastest‑growing sports in a safe, modern, and welcoming environment.

Everybody Health and Leisure offered NYCC youth a free trial session.

Peter Wilson, from Everybody, said: “I am delighted that the group could take part and experience the courts before the public launch.”

Anna Burton, NYCC Trustee and Nantwich Town councillor said: “It was brilliant — they all loved it!

“What a great new facility for Nantwich.”

The session gave youngsters a chance to get active, learn something new, and be among the first in the community to enjoy this state‑of‑the‑art venue.
