The organisers of the Nantwich Jazz, Blues and Music Festival have hailed the Easter weekend event as “one of the best ever”.
Tens of thousands of music fans and revellers have descended on Nantwich over the past five days to enjoy a wide range of live performances at venues across the town.
And with the weather largely playing ball, it turned out to be a fantastic atmosphere throughout with venues reported packed audiences in their marquees and bars.
Organiser Abbi Ellwood runs the Crown Hotel in Nantwich and took over the planning and running of the festival from her late father Philip Martin.

She said: “What a fantastic weekend it has been! Five days to remember and reflect on one of the best festivals so far.
“We are extremely thankful for the wonderful town we live in that is able to be the stage to host this annual event yet again.
“There are so many people to thank, the list is endless.
“First and foremost to the wide range of musicians, without you there would be no festival.
“To our festival goers, you were on tip top form as ever.
“The OFFICIAL festival venues and their professional operators, your commitment to the ethos of the festival which has always been about nurturing and maintaining the local hospitality industry within our town and keeping it alive; the brainchild of my late father Phillip Martin!
“Your bar staff are unsung heroes…. It’s not an easy gig for them.
“Thank you to Sergeant Matt Stonier and his team of local police officers and those from further afield.
“You have worked extremely hard all weekend we appreciate your professionalism and commitment to keeping everyone safe yet allowing them to have fun.
“Thank you to all of our festival sponsors this year.
“Finally, thank you to our team who make it all happen and work on the event from the summer months right through to the final day of the festival, too many to mention but you know who you are and without you I wouldn’t be able to keep my dads legacy alive. Forever grateful!
“It’s been epic and we look forward to what the 29th Nantwich Jazz Blues and Music Festival in 2027 has in store! Watch this space.”

Nantwich Police were out in force throughout the weekend to ensure visitors enjoyed the event in safety. There were a small number of arrests during what was largely a peaceful festival.
A police spokesperson said: “What a fantastic weekend it’s been at the Nantwich Jazz Festival.
“The town has been alive with music, laughter and a real sense of community spirit, and it’s been a pleasure to see so many people coming together to enjoy everything on offer.
“We would like to thank everyone who’s played their part, from the festival organisers and venue staff, to the Street Angels and, of course, everyone who attended. You all deserve a well-earned rest!
“From our perspective, it’s been great to support such a positive and vibrant event. Thank you for your cooperation, your patience, and for helping to keep things safe and enjoyable for all.”
