A popular Nantwich pub has been shortlisted in the National Pub and Bar Awards.
The Leopard, on London Road, is just one of three shortlisted from across Cheshire for the awards.
Two or three venues from all 94 counties across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have been shortlisted.
The Leopard will compete against the Church Inn in Mobberley and The White Horse in Churton for the county award.
Gary Evans and Sam Rock, who run The Leopard, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be finalists at the National Pub & Bar awards.
“A huge thank you goes to our hard working team because without them this type of recognition just isn’t possible.
“Our journey at The leopard started close to 14 years ago now and the support given by Joules Brewery has meant we have been able to grow the business each year.
“We are particularly proud of our food offer but being a pub is the heart of what we do.
“Whether it’s live sport, our shuffleboard, monthly quiz or the new open mic nights, we do believe we can offer something for almost everybody.

“The awards take place in London on June 10th so fingers crossed we can bring home the award!”
National awards will also be dished out in a ceremony organised in conjunction with Pub & Bar magazine.
An awards spokesperson said: “While the event is still all about naming 94 county winners from across the whole of the UK, the awards also hands out highly commended titles for other outlets in these counties, meaning hundreds of accolades are on offer.”
