A young entrepreneur from Nantwich has been shortlisted for three awards for her beauty business.
Eve Morton, 21, received the nominations in the past three months, including HBA Finalist for Nail Technician, Fresha’s Most Highly Recommended, and the English Business Awards.
Eve launched “The Beauty Studio” off Pepper Street when she was just 19 and has worked tirelessly since.
Now, three years later, she is a finalist in the Hair and Beauty Awards (HBA) for Nail Technician of the Year, and has been selected for the English Business Awards, representing Cheshire in the Best Beauty Salon category.
She has also been awarded the Fresha “Most Highly Recommended” Award, with 100+ 5-star reviews.
Eve said: “I started my business a few days after I turned 19 with a passion for the industry and a determination to build something of my own.
“It’s grown into a busy, loyal client base through hard work and consistency.”

The former Brine Leas student was 16 when she travelled along to Manchester to attend a private beauty school.
Eve decided not to go down the university route and chose to study an apprenticeship at the Manchester College of Health & Beauty.
“From a young age, I always knew I wanted to go into the beauty industry – it’s something I’ve always been really passionate about,” she added.
“I used to do my friends’ nails and was always the one doing pampering at sleepovers.
“As I got older, I saw the opportunities that come with building your own business, and that really set it in stone for me.
“I also knew I wanted something different from a typical 9–5 career.
“The apprenticeship suited me much better as I was able to learn on the job, build real experience, and start growing a client base from a young age.
“I trained from age 16 to 18, then spent a year working while qualified before going self-employed just a week after my 19th birthday.
“At a time when young people are often unfairly labelled as unmotivated, I hope my journey shows a different side that many of us are driven, committed, and proud to be building careers and businesses in our local communities.”
