
A new food festival serving up a dish of celebrity chefs, global flavours and live entertainment will be staged at Bridgemere Garden Centre in Nantwich next month.
The festival in the Bridgemere Show Gardens will take place on Saturday 27th June and Sunday 28th June.
There will be live cookery demonstrations from some of the UK’s favourite celebrity chefs.
Sunday Brunch’s Simon Rimmer will prepare one his favourite Mediterranean dishes.
And Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown will share her passion for baking with two summery recipes.
Rustie Lee will cook up a vibrant Caribbean feast and Aldo Zilli will bring a taste of Italy to the festival.
Visitors will also get a chance to sample their delicious dishes.
Blue Diamond’s Group events manager Rebecca Gurnett said: “We’re so excited to launch our very first food festival at Bridgemere with such an incredible line-up of talented chefs.
“The event will bring together artisan producers, street food and live entertainment for a relaxed feel-good weekend celebrating great food and experiences.
“It’s a chance for people to enjoy amazing local food, enjoy family times and explore the beautiful surroundings of Bridgemere Show Gardens.”
There will be BBQ food tastings from Weber and Pit Boss who will share their expert tips and techniques for achieving grilling success.
The festival will also showcase food and drink from across Cheshire with artisan stalls offering handmade produce, premium drinks, street food and independent craft makers.
There will be something for all ages including face painting for littles ones, street performers and live music.
Festival goers also have a chance to explore the Bridgemere Show Gardens for free.
Set in six acres, there are 16 individual gardens, nine of which are award-winning designs from RHS Chelsea, Hampton Court and Tatton Flower Shows.
The event will run from 10am-4pm each.
