The Rising Sun pub in Wistaston is set to reopen with a new look following a six-figure investment.
The Chef & Brewer pub on Middlewich Road – part of pub company and brewer Greene King – will close from June 1st to undergo a complete renovation.
The new and improved venue set to reopen its doors next month.
A spokesperson for Greene King said: “The investment will deliver improvements both inside and out, preserving the pub’s unique character whilst offering a range of modern comforts to elevate customers’ drinking and dining experiences.
“Key features will include a full refresh of the pub’s interior with an enhanced bar area, expanded seating and stylish new furnishings.
“Outside, the Rising Sun’s kerbside appeal will be boosted with updated signage, outdoor furniture and additional covers, ensuring more space for an alfresco tipple or meal in the warmer months.
“There are multiple job opportunities as the Rising Sun is currently hiring new team members.”
