Talented Nantwich and Crewe students will be celebrating their achievements at an annual End of Year Show next week.
South Cheshire College’s Creative and Applied Arts faculty is staging a Visual Arts and Media exhibition alongside dance, drama, song and more, on June 14.
The annual event, from 6.30pm-9.30pm, marks the start of a week-long celebration where students, many from Nantwich and Crewe, will showcase their work to the public.
It will feature an awards ceremony, live song, dance and theatre performances and short presentations.
Student work will be on display at the college campus and exhibitions will be open for public viewing on Friday June 15 (9am – 5pm) and from June 18-21, 9am – 6pm.
Art exhibitions and a media showcase will be on display on the second floor of the college’s North building.
Linda Izan, head of Faculty for Creative and Applied Arts, said: “There is a lot of outstanding work produced throughout the Creative and Applied Arts faculty each year.
“The End of Year show is a wonderful way of celebrating this work and will feature some spectacular exhibitions, presentations and performances as part of the Private View, which marks the start of the show, before the exhibition is opened up to the public for a week.
“We will also be starting the show by presenting awards to student achievers from different parts of the faculty.”
