South Cheshire families are being invited to ‘Get into Golf’ at a Nantwich golf centre this May half-term.
The Need Golf Centre, near Reaseheath College, has partnered with England Golf to participate in the “Get into Golf” campaign.
Families and individuals will have a chance to try their hand at the sport on Wednesday 28 May.
It will include tailored golf sessions in a friendly and inclusive environment, aimed at encouraging more women, juniors, and beginners to explore the game in a relaxed setting.
There will be a Ladies morning from 10am-11am and then a Juniors session 1pm to 2pm.
Sophie Need, who runs the centre with her husband and former pro James, said: “Get into Golf Week is about showing that golf really is a sport for everyone.
“We’re excited to welcome local women and juniors to our venue and give them the chance to experience golf in a supportive, no-pressure environment.
“Whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking for a fun new activity, this is the perfect time to give golf a go.”
The England Golf campaign aims to break down barriers and challenge stereotypes surrounding the sport by encouraging more women and families to participate.
Attendees on May 28 will receive professional guidance and coaching, a relaxed introduction to the basics of golf, an inclusive and welcoming community vibe, and information on how to continue with the sport locally.
