
The annual Shavington Village Festival is taking place on Saturday June 28 from 12pm to 4pm on Main Road and the Shavington Primary School field.
The family fun day will include a classic fairground, a land train, and plenty of local flair.
The entertainment line-up is sure to get toes tapping, featuring live music from singer/guitarist Davye Dean kicking things off at midday, followed by talented vocalist Mollie Slinn, performing at both 1pm and 3:15pm.
here will be a performance by the Shavington Primary School choir, singing outside St John’s Church at 1:30pm.
Sue Bell from Crewe’s Liners will lead a line dancing demo and ‘have-a-go’ session at 2pm in the Village Hall car park.
Shoppers and browsers can explore stalls and stands showcasing local crafts, businesses, and community groups.
The village festival committee BBQ will be serving burgers and hot dogs, while the Woodnoth Cum Shavington WI serves up homemade cakes and refreshments in St Mark’s Church Hall.
A spokesperson from the Shavington Village Festival Committee shared: “We can’t wait to bring the community together for another fantastic festival – an ever-popular highlight of the local calendar.
