
TV celebrity Kim Woodburn, who lived in Nantwich, has died.
The 83-year-old was the face behind the hit TV reality show “How Clean Is Your House” between 2003 and 2009.
After she retired from the show she settled in the town with her husband Peter after visiting Nantwich during an episode of the show.
She appeared on the Channel 4 cleaning show alongside Aggie MacKenzie and also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother.
Woodburn also contributed to Loose Women and This Morning, and starred in the ninth series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, finishing runner-up to Gino D’Acampo in 2009.
She was well known for her outspoken views and was open about her difficult upbringing.
Her manager told BBC News today (June 17): “It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday following a short illness.
“Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.
“We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career.”
A post on Woodburn’s official Instagram account run by her husband said: “My wonderful, beautiful Kim passed away last night. God bless, my love”.
