My dad and I were there and unfortunately saw/heard it happen, I hope that everyone makes a full recovery. We didn’t appreciate the amount of people eating ice cream who wandered over to stare at the scene as though it were some sort of macabre entertainment.
A51
1. Horrendous road along its full stretch.
2. Road width is insufficient for amount of heavy traffic
3. Speed restrictions need to be put in place along its full length
(better signage, speed humps, speed cameras, etc etc)
4. Crumbling road surface
5. Drivers need to remember you will get from A to B if you drive sensibly
ACCIDENTS ON A51 WILL ONLY INCREASE, WITH FATALITIES.
