Fire crews tackled a van fire after the vehicle burst into flames on a busy road in Nantwich.
The incident happened at around 7.30am yesterday (Saturday February 21st) on Chester Road in Acton, close to the Bluestone Lights.
A major road between Nantwich and Chester was closed today after a serious collision, believed to have involved two cars and an ambulance.
Four people were injured in the accident which happened on the A51 Chester Road close to Snugburys ice cream farm in Hurleston.
This was the scene on the busy A51 Chester Road near Nantwich after a car careered out of control and flipped on to its roof.
The incident happened close to the junction with Long Lane in Alpraham at around 9pm last night (June 16).
Part of the main A51 route between Nantwich and Chester will be closed for three days from today for essential repairs, highways chiefs have warned.
Motorists are being urged to find alternative routes between April 9-12. The road will be closed between 7pm and 6am.
