A former Nantwich primary school pupil has unearthed this class photo from 70 years ago!
John Horton believes his mum must have bought the photo taken of a class at Nantwich County Primary School while he was a pupil there.
He and childhood friend David Sadler, who are still in touch, have also put most of the class names to the photo.
John, who now lives in Hampshire, said: “David Sadler and I started school aged 5 and we still meet.
“He lives in Kent whilst I live in Hampshire. But I’m still a dabber!
“I told him of this photo and he has amazing recall. He put most of the names to the photo and John Sproston and Steve Lockett added to it.
“We wondered if former pupils, now of course around 80, or their children might like to see and correct, and complete, our record.
“Of course it would be lovely to receive comments.”
