
A cyclist was injured after a collision with a van on a busy Nantwich road.
The incident happened at the junction of Mill Street and Waterlode.
The cyclist, who was treated for injuries, was accompanied by his dog, which was uninjured in the accident.
Witnesses initially said the van failed to stop at the scene last Friday August 8, but Cheshire Police confirmed the driver has been traced.
A police spokesperson said: “At 12.06pm on Friday 8 August, police were called to reports of a collision in Waterlode, Nantwich.
“The collision involved a van and a cyclist. The cyclist suffered minor injuries.
“The driver of the van was offered a driver awareness course.”
