The Swan at Marbury will see the return of its Beer and Cider Festival this September – with more local ales than ever and an extra day to celebrate.
The award-winning pub, near Wrenbury, will be staging the festival from Thursday September 4th to Sunday September 7th.
Festival times are from 5pm until late on Thursday, from 12pm until late on Friday and Saturday, and from 12pm until late afternoon on Sunday.
The event is £3 to attend, which includes a Swan at Marbury branded pint glass to keep.
The festival will feature more than 20 real ales, sourced both locally and from across the UK.
There will be craft ciders to try, offering a range of flavours.
Beers and breweries featured will include Hopback, Summer Lightning, Merlin’s Mythic IPA, gluten free Party Wave from Howling Hops, Thornbridge’s Jaipur and more.
Festivalgoers can also enjoy food from the outdoor BBQ, which includes pulled pork baps on Friday, BBQ classics on Saturday and roast baps over Sunday lunch time.
Live music will run from Friday through to Sunday, featuring a range of local artists and bands.
These include Jack Woodward and Todd Nathaniel, who will open the event on Friday, Callum Wright and Mark Dennis across Saturday afternoon and evening and then on Sunday Ally Mac will be playing.
Swan at Marbury Landlord Charlie Holden said: “We’re delighted to be hosting another brilliant Beer & Cider Festival here at The Swan.
“Last year’s event was cracking and we were thrilled that so many people came down to support our pub, the local brewers and wonderful musicians.
“It’s such a fantastic way to bring the community together, make memories with family and friends, and celebrate high quality local beer and cider, homemade food and unique entertainment. We can’t wait to welcome everybody!”
