
Sandbach Town get themselves off the mark with an impressive 6-2 victory at home to Nantwich Pirates in the Crewe Regional Sunday League Premier Division.
Dom Vernon scored three of the goals in what was a good morning for him, and the other Sandbach goals were scored by Connor
Sutherland, Kieran Stanley and Jake Tew.
Romone Brown and Lewis Hayes-Porter got the goals for the Pirates.
In Division one, Audlem had a remarkably successful morning as they put 14 goals past Crewe Rovers.
Three players scored hat-tricks, the most notable of which was that of Nick Gregory, who scored his three goals within 8 minutes after coming on as a sub.
Other hat-trick scorers were Callum Edwards and Tyler Griffiths.
In addition, Shea Bebbington scored a brace and Paul Bowker, Seb Burrows and Cameron Rodgers also scored one each.
Crewe Rovers did score a goal, but I will have to confirm the scorer later.
The AFC Dishers and C&N game was well officiated by 16-year-old Harvey Lindsay on his debut.
On the pitch, the game was tense, particularly in the second half. Eventually though, it was the home side who came out on top with a 4-2 win.
Ben Reddock scored a hat-trick for Dishers, with Jack Parkings also getting on the scoresheet.
The C&N goals were scored by Mike Walton and a fine strike from Zak Saadouni.
A close affair in Bunbury between NHB and Ruskin Park ended all square.
Both teams share the plaudits in a 1-1 draw. Colin Watson scored for NHB and Liam Whittaker scored for Ruskin Park.

The game between Nantwich Town and Inter Arena ended all square, despite both teams having a plethora of chances in the second half.
Nantwich Town were 0-1 up at half-time, and made it 0-2 midway through the second half thanks to goals from Danny Dodd and Jamie Hart.
But Inter Arena didn’t give up, and two quick fire goals from Fin Tudor (with a very well taken penalty) and Kobe Matimbara levelled the scoreline.
