A man from Stapeley in Nantwich has been arrested for suspected drug driving and possession after a vehicle check by police.

The arrest was made on Queens Drive in Nantwich at around 10.15pm last night (October 24th).

Officers from Cheshire’s Roads and Crime unit conducted a stop check on a vehicle and its occupants.

A Nantwich Police spokesperson said: “It resulted in the arrest of a 38-year-old male from Stapeley for drug driving, no licence, no insurance and possession of cannabis.”
