A cyclist injured after a fall was rescued by air ambulance near Nantwich today.

The incident happened in the Norbury area, near Wrenbury, at around midday today in wet and windy conditions. (November 4th)

It’s believed the cyclist’s injuries are not life-threatening.

A Nantwich Police spokesperson said: “The Air Ambulance Service came to the rescue of an injured cyclist in rural Nantwich today.

“At 11:59hrs this morning our officers deployed to Norbury following the report of an injured cyclist.

“No other road users were involved and early indications are that the cyclists injuries are not life threatening.

“Thanks to the local residents who came their aid and the fantastic Air Ambulance who were able to assist despite challenging weather conditions.”
