Cooper Buckley remain in top spot in the Crewe Regional Sunday Premier Division after a 2-4 win at Sandbach Town.
The away side were three goals to the good at the half, but Sandbach mounted an inspiring comeback in the second half with goals from Aron Shatwell and Jake Tew.
However, Cooper Buckley sealed the deal in the closing stages to take all three points. The Cooper Buckley scorers were Kyle Vickers, Jason McMullan, Russ Scholfield and Deno Oswilgwe.
Close on Cooper Buckleys heels though, is Raven Salvador, who are having a tremendous first season in the topflight.
Raven scored three goals against Nantwich Pirates to take a 1-3 victory and all three points.
Che Sanchez, Dan Cooper and Jack Gilbert scored the all-important goals. Eddie Warrington scored the Pirates goal.
In Division One, it was a solitary second half goal by Ben Reddock that made all the difference in the close encounter between C&N and AFC Dishers.
The home side’s away victory makes it four wins in their last six games, and they are well in the mixer for the title challenge.
White Horse are also starting to put some serious results on the board as they beat top of the league Audlem away from home in an exciting encounter.
Goals from Brandon Harman, Tom. Carney and Ben Baiton ensured that White Horse have now won two of their last three.
The only game in which any player scored more than one goal was the match between Inter Arena and NHB, in which Sam Davenport scored a hat-trick and Paul Studley got a brace for the away side in an impressive 2-7 victory.
The win keeps NHB well inside the five-club battle for the top positions.
Other goalscorers for NHB were Jimmy Studley and Frank Farrington. Billy Jani and Joe Hodson got on the scoresheet for Inter Arena.
