Heler Foods in Hatherton

Nantwich based company Joseph Heler Cheese has rebranded as Heler Foods, marking the next chapter in the company’s journey.

The firm, with headquarters in Hatherton, has expanded from a single farmhouse cheesemaker to a leading multi-site food group with more than 500 staff.

It now supplies customers in more than 50 international markets.

Bosses say the rebrand and new name reflects the “scale, ambition, and capability the business has built”.

This now spans cheesemaking, cutting and packing, branding and innovation, ecommerce, international export, and health-led categories such as Eatlean Protein.

George Heler CEO said: “Heler Foods brings everything we do under one family-driven identity.

“While our name has evolved, our ownership, values, and commitment to quality remain exactly the same.

“This change recognises how far we’ve come – and the opportunities ahead.”

The Joseph Heler name will continue as a product brand rooted in the company’s cheesemaking heritage since 1957.

The wider Heler Foods Group brings together the Heler Foods Creamery in Nantwich, Heler Foods Packing in Porthmadog, and Lymn Bank Farm in Lincolnshire.

Founded in 1957 near Nantwich, the business remains family owned and led by George, the third generation of the Heler family.

Sarah Griffith, People Director, added: “This rebrand celebrates both our proud past and ambitious future.

“It reflects the culture and purpose that unite our people across every site – to give others the confidence to change and shape the future.

“We’re not just a family of cheesemakers anymore; we’re a family of changemakers.”

Heler Foods aims to launch its new branding, website, and visual identity later this month.
