Nantwich Police have tackled 95 reported incidents in a week, latest figures show.

One included another incident of youth anti-social behaviour at the Nantwich Town FC 3G pitch.

Nantwich Police say they have met with club officials a number of times to tackle the issue.

From the 95 incidents between January 11-18, 15% were for suspected domestic abuse, and 10% for violence/harassment, with another 8% recorded as suspicious activity, and 7% theft.

Police recorded 42 crimes from those incidents, and seven arrests have been made.

Crimes recorded included 12 for assault, five for criminal damage, and two for possession of drugs.

Wrenbury was the busiest area with 13 crimes, the same as Nantwich North & West.

There were seven recorded in Bunbury, four in Nantwich South and Stapeley, three in Wybunbury and two in Audlem.

Arrests made included four domestic related, one for drug drive, one on warrant and one for distributing indecent images of children.

The eldest was 60 and youngest 27.

  1. Just think how many crimes go unreported in Nantwich weekly? It’s always been a bit feral round the edges but getting more like Crewe by the week.

  2. You all still feel Nantwich is a brilliant area to live, ?this is proof the rot has set in, no way is it the best area now entitled scum live amongst you, glad i sold up and left after 30yrs
