A Nantwich lingerie store is to host a “Body Confidence” event with the co-founders Accepting Who We Are (AWWA) Rachel Peru and Tina Boden.
The event will take place at Foundations on Hospital Street on Saturday February 7th between 11am – 2pm.
And part of the campaign, Tina and Rachel will be appearing as “live mannequins” in the Foundations shop window, aimed at turning heads on Nantwich’s high street and encouraging women to pop in!
Nantwich women are being invited to the event to help boost their body confidence.
Rachel and Tina have been taking their campaign to various stores and locations around the country.
Now they are heading to Nantwich and encourage women to call in for a professional bra fitting and discover the difference the right size can make to posture, comfort, and confidence.
Research by model and body confidence advocate Rachel Peru found that out of 200 women, almost 40% of women cannot remember the last time they had a bra fitting.
She said: “It’s such a simple act, but a professional bra fitting can completely change how you carry yourself and how you feel about your body.”
The Nantwich event will be the fourth in independent lingerie boutiques across the UK this winter.
“We want women to feel seen, supported, and accepted,” added Tina.
“This campaign is about reminding women that they deserve to feel good in their own skin – and sometimes that starts with something as everyday as a well-fitting bra.”
