Winning businesses across Nantwich were honoured at the Shop Local Awards last night at the Wychwood Park Hotel.
Among the winners were the team behind Nantwich Food Festival, which was crowned “Shop Local Award, Nantwich Best Event Organiser”.
Food Awards Manager and Marquee Manager Ana Martins said: “I am struggling for words to express just how pleased I am on behalf of the Festival, having received the award of Best Event Organiser.
“We work hard throughout the year to ensure that not only is Nantwich Food Festival organised and run to high professional standards, but that it also encourages visitors to shop in our wonderful local businesses too.
“Each year we hear of visitors who, having experienced our lovely town over the Festival weekend, then decide to move to live here.”
Work is already underway for the 2026 event scheduled for Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September. Volunteer Managers Andrew and Linda Martin are now on the lookout for more volunteers. Email [email protected]
Other Shop Local winners included Applestump Records, on Oat Market, which was crowned Best Local Business.
Best Start-Up of the Year went to Toast Haus on Pillory Street, and winner of the Community Award went to Bear and Boost coffee shop.
