Youngsters from Willaston Whitestar football club are to take part in a sponsored walk to raise vital funds for the club.
Members of the U12s Willaston Whitestar Rangers are doing the walk on Saturday 4th April at the Cloud near Congleton.
They hope to raise £600 and donations are already flooding in to their Justgiving page set up to raise money for equipment and football kits for them.
Gemma Neville, who runs the fundraising side for the club, said: “They love training with their coaches, for the kids its the best part of their week.
“The managers and coaches go above and beyond for the children supporting them both on and off the pitch. It really is a family club.
“We are so lucky to have such a fantastic football club here in our village, giving our children the chance to learn, play, make friends and be part of a real team.
“Every little bit of support will make a big difference in helping them continue to enjoy and develop their love of the game.
