St Luke’s Hospice Cheshire is inviting supporters to lace up their walking shoes for the return of the Twilight Walk at Delamere Forest on March 21st.
The challenging but fun 10K route winds through the woodland at dusk, surrounded by the glow of the setting sun and the community spirit of St Luke’s supporters.
It will start at the visitors’ centre and head up towards Old Pale, loop around the forest mere and finish back at the centre with a well-earned hot chocolate.
St Luke’s events fundraiser Debra Sloan said: “We’re thrilled to be back at Delamere Forest for our fourth Twilight Walk.
“A special evening to come together, support our Hospice and welcome in the spring season. Last year, 700 incredible supporters raised £50,000 for patient care.
“This year, we’re hopeful the brighter evenings and improved weather will bring even more of you along to make this our most magical walk yet.”
Early bird entry is available now at £17.50 for adults and £9.50 for children aged 16 and under, but the discounted price won’t be around for long.
The Twilight Walk is open to everyone – families, groups of friends and even four-legged companions are welcome to take part, making it a brilliant evening out for all ages while raising vital funds for local patient care.
This year’s event is sponsored by Northwich-based Circle Cheshire Clinic.
