The South Cheshire National Trust Association in Nantwich is seeking a new membership secretary to support the group.
The voluntary role is essential to the future of the society by maintaining membership records, printing address labels, communicating with members and ensuring data protection compliance.
Candidates will need a home computer and a basic knowledge of word and excel plus using email for correspondence.
The retiring membership secretary will initially work alongside and provide support and advice during the handover.
The group is also seeking several additional committee members to support the organisation and running of the group.
A spokesperson for the association said: “You may already be a member of the South Cheshire Association or someone in the community who would like to join us and undertake this rewarding voluntary role.
“You do not have to be a member of the main National Trust to join our group, although National Trust membership is something you may wish to consider.”
Local Association annual membership is £10 single or £15 family (living at the same address).
Members attend monthly meetings with talks from September around to May each year, opportunities for coach and car outings to places of interest, a regular lunch club and an annual coach holiday.
The spokesperson added: “The sourcing of a Membership Secretary is critical to the continuing functioning of the group, so please seriously consider helping us – it will be very rewarding and you will be guaranteed a warm welcome from the existing team.”
