Navio Lounge in Nantwich has launched its LoungeAid 2026 and is appealing for residents to get involved to support local charities.
The team at Navio, on Churchyardside in Nantwich, are set for a month of fundraising, community spirit and feel good fun.
The month-long charity initiative brings together all 271 Lounges, 37 Cosy Clubs and four Brightside venues across the UK.
Each site chooses causes that matter to its team and community, then spends June turning their venue into a fundraising hub.
This year, the Nantwich team has chosen to support Looking After The Homeless (LATH) charity based in Crewe, a cause close to their hearts.
Throughout June they’ll be hosting a packed programme of events and fundraising activities, including Bake sales, prize bingo, Charity quiz and loads more.
Across the country, Loungers teams are planning more than 1,000 individual fundraising events, supporting hundreds of local charities. Last year, LoungeAid raised an impressive £285,000 — and this year the nationwide target is a whopping £300,000.
Leah Jones, general manager of Navio Lounge in Nantwich, said: “LoungeAid is a month dedicated to our chosen charity, LATH.
“Myself and the team are really excited to get stuck in with these events, bringing the community together to raise as much money as possible for such a great cause.
“Lounges have always been rooted in their communities — from hosting local groups and events, offering random acts of kindness, and raising money for causes that matter to their teams.
“LoungeAid is a continuation of this – a grassroots fundraising model where each Lounge chooses the causes that matter in their neighbourhood and rallies their community to make a difference.”
Nick Collins, CEO, Loungers, added: “LoungeAid is a real highlight in our community calendar.
“We can’t wait to kick off this year’s on Monday 1st June and see the crazy, creative and brilliant things our teams come up with to raise much needed funds for local charities — all while bringing their communities together.”
