Nantwich Food Festival - town square crowds

Organisers of the Nantwich Food Festival have recruited a number of new team members to help with the 2026 event.

The festival, which is volunteer-run, will be staged over three days between September 4th and 6th, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to the town.

Organisers have unveiled new additions to their team, including Faith Armstrong and Libby Griffiths who will share the role of covering social media.

Faith works as a marketing executive at a local marina, while Libby runs the Shop Local Awards.

Libby said: “I am a strong believer in supporting the local community and to get involved with what is probably one of the biggest events in Nantwich was not an opportunity to be missed.”

A new Sustainability Lead has also been appointed in a bid to reduce the environmental impact of the festival by limiting waste and increasing recycling.

Festival volunteer co-ordinators Andrew and Linda Martin say their April Volunteer Evening at The Wickstead Arms in Nantwich was a huge success.

Linda said: “A number of new volunteers signed up on the night, so we are thrilled to welcome them to the team and look forward to their contribution to making the 2026 Festival a safe and enjoyable one for everyone.

“The recent Reaseheath Family Festival was hugely enjoyable and resulted in a few more new volunteers, so Andrew and I couldn’t be more pleased.

“Anyone who wasn’t able to attend either of these events but would like to hear more about volunteering for Nantwich Food Festival just needs to contact us at [email protected]

“We welcome volunteers of all ages, from all backgrounds and can use whatever skills you may have.

“We provide free support and training to all our volunteers plus a hi-viz so that you are easy to spot, so do get in touch if you would like to hear more about joining a successful and totally volunteer run event.”
