A Nantwich-based Team Diamond Muay Thai fighter from Shavington was one of the star attractions at a major event in Sheffield.
Ethan Casewell, who is nephew of Team Diamond boss Gemma Coast, fought Wicker Camp fighter Arkan Hussain at the Legacy Promotions event.
Ethan, aged 18, also works as a coach at Team Diamond, based at Regent’s Park off London Road.
The bout was his first B class pro am fight with knees to the head and elbow pads.
Gemma said: “It was the main event. The fight was an absolute war from start to finish ending in a draw.
“Ethan landed technical, clean and high scoring technique which we had worked on.
“I’m very proud of him and the work he put in for this fight.
“This was an outstanding performance that he can build on for his next fight, which will be in Stoke-on-Trent on 10th October at The Hilton DoubleTree.
“We also have a team of fighters on this show.”
