Crewe Railroaders American Football team have launched a recruitment drive to attract budding players in the area.
The team has just finished its second season in the British American Football Association National Leagues (BAFANL) Central division.
Now managers feel the time is right to expand, with positions available for new players of all shapes and sizes.
Free recruitment “rookie” sessions are being staged by the club at South Cheshire College, with the first one this Sunday October 13, from 10.30am.
Those interested will get the chance to play American Football, equipment will be provided for the training sessions along with a complete program lasting two hours.
“The sessions are free all. You need is to be in suitable clothing for outdoor sports on Astro turf,” said a spokesman.
“If you are looking for a new challenge, American Football may be the one for you.”
Two more sessions will follow on October 20 and 27, also at South Cheshire College 10.30am start.
