And Caitlin Shaw, 10, will be taking up her place at The Grange in Northwich.

Anouska, who enjoys playing the piano, singing and drama, said: “I’m really going to miss all my friends from Sound but I’ll be able to see them at weekends and in the holidays.”

Caitlin plays the violin and is a member of the school netball and cross country team.

“I’m looking forward to starting at my new school,” she said.

“It seems really friendly and is a fresh start but I’ll miss my friends.”

Sound & District Primary School is currently ranked number one in Nantwich, according to the Department for Education Performance tables.

Deputy headteacher Kirsty Newton said: “Our year six has been a wonderful group.

“They have all worked extremely hard and have been a delight to teach.

“We wish Anouska and Caitlin and all their class mates well as they start their new schools in September.”
